The Conference Proceedings 2012

This book brings a part of papers, presented at the Fourth International Conference ‘European Entrepreneurship in the Globalizing Economy: Preparation of New Generation of Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders’. The Conference was organized by the Bulgarian Association for Management Development and Entrepreneurship (BAMDE), the Chair of Entrepreneur-ship and the Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (IED) at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in partnership with the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB). The Conference was held from 3 to 6 June 2012 in the beautiful ancient town of Sozopol, Black Sea, Bulgaria.

Papers by authors from many countries addressing different sides and expressions of entrepreneurship and SMEs were presented and discussed at the conference. The papers in this Proceedings are grouped in three thematic areas: ‘Development of European Entrepreneurship and SMEs in the Global Economy’, ‘Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Management of SMEs’, ‘Entrepreneurship Education and Training’. Selected papers have been targeted for publication in the International Review of Entrepreneurship Journal (2014).

Following the opinions of conference participants, the Conference gave an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking and entertainment in the pleasant atmosphere of the ancient Sozopol!
